The problem

The challenge was to design a limited streetwear collection that felt emotionally nostalgic without losing the brand's identity. The goal was to tap into the ’80s and ’90s cultural memory many people grew up with, while translating it into a contemporary, internet-native visual language capable of standing out in a saturated streetwear landscape.

My Creative Solution

I led the art direction and design for the Bad Hair Day 2024 limited collection for FIVE Media Clan, in collaboration with streamers RickyEdit and Agustin51. The visual identity was built around retro typography, bold color palettes, and American street culture references, blending nostalgia with a modern digital aesthetic. Every design element was developed to feel playful, familiar, and instantly recognizable, while remaining aligned with FIVE Media Clan’s internet-born DNA.

The results

The collection resonated strongly with the community and audience, achieving a full sell-out within three months of launch. The drop reinforced the brand’s cultural positioning, strengthened its connection with creators and fans, and demonstrated the commercial impact of combining strong art direction with emotionally driven storytelling.
